AP successfully transition into ISO 9001:2015

AP Security received our audit report this week confirming our successful transition to the new international quality management standard ISO 9001:2015, and environmental management standard ISO 14001:2015. The new version of the international standards are evolutions of the previous standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 which APS first gained back in October 2010.

Whilst many of the standards requirements have remained or been made more stringent, both the new 2015 standards additionally require evidence of risk-based thinking, quality leadership and a striving for continual improvement in delivering customer needs and expectations.

Companies complying with the old standards have until September 2018 to update their management systems in line with the new requirements. By making the transition early APS can demonstrate our proactive approach to quality assurance.

The report from our independent audit carried out by Alcumus ISOQAR confirmed that “There is a very detailed and comprehensive risk register now in place, the new format covering the policies and procedures for all standards. ‘Companyweb’ and several other new areas such as ‘Biopanel’ are excellent.”

Our new and existing clients can therefore feel safe in the knowledge that, when they do business with APS, they are receiving a service that complies fully with the very latest quality standards.
