Andrew Stevens

Director of Strategic Development

Andrew joined the Crowd Management industry in 1994. He has been head of arena security at Leeds Festival since its inception in 1999, played a pivotal role at Glastonbury Festival (head of AP arena security) for ten years and holds similar roles at many of the festivals and large-scale events at which AP provides its services.

Andrew is now AP's Director of Strategic Development, overseeing all company procedural and policy issues and continues with consultancy work on major projects throughout the world. He was very proud to be AP's Contract Manager at 10 venues for the London 2012 Olympic Games and has worked in an advisory and consultative basis with the likes of UEFA, Abu Dhabi Yas Marina and Forestry Commission, England.

Andrew, holder of Level 5 Crowd Safety and Risk Analysis, as well as NEBOSH, is currently studying for his MSc in Crowd Science at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Andrew has a plethora of attributes that make him perfect for his role at AP. The fact that he is a self-confessed late 70s / early 80s music geek isn't one of them...
