Redbull Soap Box

The Red Bull Soap Box, with its London event held at Alexandra Park in July, presents a very unique set of challenges. The course is built on a closed road and the 25,000 sold-out audience is brought in via temporary entrances located throughout the Park. It’s a great family day out and AP Security teams work hard to ensure the safety of all those in attendance for this live-broadcast event. Head of Security James Hooker commented, “It’s a lovely event to work on, it’s something completely different and the staff really enjoy themselves here. But when we’re closing roads, redirecting bus routes and closing parts of the park we have to ensure that our team is ready to engage with both ticket holders and the general public and keep everybody safe. The staff are well trained, briefed and managed on the day and we have a successful event year after year”.
