A.P. Strengthening Community Bonds By Supporting the Army Cadets

In the heart of our company lies a commitment to serving our community and supporting future leaders. This commitment was showcased on Saturday, April 20th, when two members of our senior management team, Liam Mulkeirins and Diane Mulkeirins, took part in a volunteer instructors training day for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

The session was led by 2LT Keeble and E Company OC Major Manchee, and was a thorough overview of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.

How are A.P. Security Involved?

You might be wondering what our directors were doing there? Well, Liam and Diane are not only exceptional leaders within our company but also dedicated volunteer cadet instructors with the Army Cadet Force (ACF). Our company's ethos of community support extends beyond the boardroom, as reflected in our proud Silver Award status under the Armed Forces Covenant.

The training day itself covered everything from cadet enrolment to guiding them through the journey to achieve the prestigious Bronze, Silver, or Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards.

The new Army Cadet Syllabus works alongside the different elements of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and makes for a great partnership.

How Can You Help?

Our involvement with the Army Cadets isn't just a one-off event; it reflects our ongoing dedication to shaping tomorrow's leaders. And to all our A.P. staff and their families, we extend an invitation to looking into the rewarding journey of joining the ACF.

Join us as we continue to strengthen community bonds and empower the next generation of leaders. Together, we can make a difference.
